In short: the widgets collect nothing about you or about the guests who see them. There are no accounts, cookies or ads. We only count page views, anonymously.
What a widget knows
A widget only reads the settings in its own link, such as the wedding date, time zone, colours and language. It shows them on the page and keeps nothing. If the person who made the link put the couple's details in it, those details stay in the link they share.
Counting visits
To know how many people use the widgets, we count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on the viewer's device and builds no profile of anyone; we only see totals, such as how many times a page was seen, and from which country and kind of device.
Other companies involved
- Cloudflare serves the widgets. Like any web host, it handles the technical data every web request carries (such as the IP address) to deliver and protect the page, under its own terms. We do not use that data to identify anyone.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces, so the viewer's browser asks Google for the font files.
These companies may process data outside the European Union, under their own terms.
